Spring Garden Flowers – iPhoneography Series Available on Society6

I love this time of year, when the garden begins to come back to life.

The daffodils are always the first to pop up, along with the tulips.

The lilac bush has just begun to wake from it’s long winter’s nap,

and the crab apple tree will soon be bursting with delicate pink blossoms.

Inspired by all the wonder around me, I’ve added a few new spring flower images to my Society6 shop.

A yellow daffodil, a purple iris and a pink calla lily.

These images are part of my iPhoneography series,

meaning they have been shot and processed using my iPhone 4 only.

All images are available as fine art prints, framed prints, stretched canvases,

stationery cards, iPhone cases and iPod skins.

No fancy cameras or photoshop here, just the basics in equipment and whole lot of creative freedom!

These images were shot with my professional camera or as I like to call it my “big girl” camera!

iPhoneography: February ’12 – Part II

I noticed a couple of other reoccurring themes in my images this past month along with hearts, see here for part I

flowers, especially pink ones, seemed to be “popping” up all over the place!

I played around with a little monochromatic processing and…

had a little fun with some abstract images!

The cat on the fence is a bit out of place but inspiring none-the-less!

iPhoneography – January ’12 Review: Part II

Lately I find myself taking more pictures with my iPhone than I do with my fancy DSLR!

Chase Jarvis, a well known photographer, director and social artist wrote a book called,

“The Best Camera Is The One That’s With You”.

I couldn’t agree more!

My iPhone is small, lightweight and most importantly always with me.

I can snap a shot, edit it and have it uploaded to Instagram in less than five minutes.

It’s extremely freeing, allowing me to simply “play”.

Will my iPhone replace my DSLR? Of course not,

but for now it’s definitely got my attention!

What is iPhoneography?

Simply put, it is the act of taking photos and processing them on an iPhone!

For me iPhoneography is a convenient and fun creative outlet.

I enjoy shooting with my iPhone because it’s limitations as a camera

along with it’s amazing in phone processing apps give me a creative freedom

that I simply don’t get with my DSLR camera and Photoshop.
